I was appointed Managing Director of PMW in October 1996, at the tender age of 29. Running a business can be challenging and I feel I have learnt a lot since the days when my enthusiasm exceeded my experience. There is no doubt in my mind that the key to success is having a great team of people delivering an honest and sound proposition; I believe this helps to explain why most of our current clients have been with us for over 20 years. Taking the long term view is important in lots of respects and I am proud that despite the significant turbulence in financial markets that has been experienced, I have steered the company to profit over the last 13 consecutive years. I believe that constant self development is essential to maintain high performance in an increasingly competitive world. I have been an active member of the Chief Executive peer group schemes run by what was previously known as the Department of Trade and Industry and also LeaderShape. I also attend courses run by the Institute of Directors, of which I have been a member since 1997. When I am not working, I enjoy spending time with my family and when time permits, indulge my passion for rugby and sailing.

I am an Associate Chartered Accountant and joined PMW in April 2012. I oversee the company’s financial management and day to day operations and generally create extra time for Simon by taking on some of his previous responsibilities. For example, I oversee workflow management to ensure that PMW is able to maintain high quality standards and meet its contractual commitments to clients in the most efficient way. This involves developing robust processes and encouraging commitment to effective internal communication at all levels. I also oversee HR and other Operational matters, drive the Staff Appraisal programme and deliver financial analysis to Simon and the Board. Outside of work I like to spend time with my family.

I joined the Board of PMW in February 2012, having worked with Simon Lewis since 2001 through his participation in a Chief Executives forum. As a Chartered Accountant my early career included experience as a Management Consultant, where I built up a broad industrial background that includes senior and Chief Executive positions in a range of business sectors. I am a Fellow of the Institute of Consulting and accredited as a Senior Executive Coach by The Oxford School of Coaching & Mentoring. I was a founding director of LeaderShape Limited and spent many years coaching and mentoring Chief Executives and their top teams. I have also been a UK Director of the European Coaching & Mentoring Council and Chair of the Coaching Steering Group of the Institute of Consulting. I am a very experienced Non-Executive Director, as well as a past Regional Chairman of the Institute of Directors and a Course Tutor on IOD Director Development programmes. Outside of work I enjoy golf, keeping fit, spending time with family and travelling.

After working for 11 years in financial services gaining experience working in both small and large companies, I decided to pack my bags and tour Latin America, practising my newly acquired Spanish. I returned and joined PMW as a Chartered Financial Planner in August 2013. I am individually authorised by the FCA to provide financial advice. I specialise in wealth management, with a specific interest in retirement and inheritance tax planning. Most of my work is associated with the delivery of PMW’s Wealth Management Service although I also provide advice to clients at the point of entry to PMW’s Investment Review Service. I find it rewarding to provide clients with comprehensive financial planning advice to suit their individual needs. Away from work, I am a keen sportsman and regularly play golf and badminton.

My 16 years of experience in financial planning has been gained solely at PMW, where I have undertaken a wide range of roles and responsibilities since I joined in 1999. I achieved the Diploma in Financial Planning in 2008 and I am individually authorised by the FCA to provide financial advice. At PMW my time is divided between assisting the provision of advice and service to Wealth Management Service clients in the Account Manager role and acting as Adviser in conjunction with an Account Manager. I am an accredited Later Life Adviser and member of the Society of Later Life Advisers (SOLLA). Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family, travelling, cooking and watching cricket.

My career in Financial Planning began in 1996 when I joined a small firm of independent financial advisers. Since then I have worked for various organisations providing independent financial advice to high net worth clients, both corporate and private. In 2012 I completed my Diploma in Financial Planning and in October 2016 I joined PMW as a Financial Planner. My role here is to work closely with the Chartered Financial Planners and Chartered Wealth Managers to help with the smooth delivery of PMW’s Wealth Management Service. I joined PMW as a Financial Planner in June 2009. I am individually authorised by the FCA to provide financial advice and I use my expertise to support a Chartered Financial Planner as an Account Manager, working exclusively with PMW’s Wealth Management Service clients. I enjoy helping to develop holistic financial planning solutions for clients and I have retained my interest in the technical aspects of pensions. I joined PMW as Trainee Account Manager in November 2015. Following completion of my training I was delighted to become an Account Manager for clients of PMW’s Wealth Management Service. I have recently begun working towards a Certificate in Financial Services and following completion of this I hope to continue my studies with PMW. The position has provided me with the opportunity to gain valuable financial services experience in a friendly and supportive environment. Outside the office I am actively involved in a number of sporting activities, including squash and skiing. I am also a qualified sailing instructor.

As part of my development I have begun working towards a diploma in Regulated Financial Planning, which I look forward to completing with the support of PMW. I joined PMW in February 2008 having previously worked in Canary Wharf for a US investment bank. As an Account Manager my role is to ensure the smooth delivery of PMW’s Wealth Management Service to the clients allocated to me and this involves dealing with the day to day client contact, attending client review meetings, rebalancing client portfolios to bring them into line with the PMW House View and working with the allocated adviser to carry out research and draft reports to communicate our advice. I enjoy the extensive client contact that my role entails and I take pride in being as efficient as possible. When I am not at work, I enjoy spending as much time as possible with my family.

I spent a few months interning at PMW soon after my graduation in 2010. I enjoyed the work and liked the people so I was delighted when I was offered a full time permanent position. Initially, my role involved special projects, investment research and of course intensive training on the Company’s processes and procedures, which involved ‘shadowing’ both Account Managers and Advisers. I now act as an Account Manager for clients of PMW’s Wealth Management Service and I very much enjoy working as part of a team to deliver good advice and great service. Away from the office, I enjoy playing badminton and socialising.

I began my career as a graduate in 2008 as part of the Santander Corporate Banking scheme, followed by a position as Operations Manager in 2010, before finally realising my passion for Marketing and Events in 2012. Whilst on maternity leave with my twin boys, I completed my CIM: Professional Certificate in Marketing with the aim of increasing my understanding of the key elements associated with marketing. I have been working in financial services for 13 years, during which time I have acquired a lot of administrative experience. I joined PMW as Investment Administrator in October 2012. I produce a large portion of the Wealth Management Service client review packs, enabling the Account Managers to concentrate on preparing the advice for client meetings. I also assist with processing investment transactions (switches etc). There are a plenty of other things I do that clients would never see, hear or be aware of but are nevertheless essential to the smooth running of their account. I am also responsible for maintaining the spreadsheet based tools that we use internally to calculate how to rebalance client portfolios and helping Kellianne with on-going development in this respect. I’m currently studying for the Certificate in Financial Planning and when I am away from work, I enjoy watching sports and movies, as well as listening to music and reading.

I joined PMW as Portfolio Administrator in November 2011. I have worked in the financial services industry for 25 years and in my current role, arrange investment transactions for clients including new investments and switches. In all this extends to around 20,000 transactions every year, each of which must be carried out within strict internal timescales and thoroughly documented. I also liaise with the fund platform providers to ensure we are kept to up to date with new developments in their systems and practises. I chair the monthly Account Managers’ Meeting, a forum that enables the team to share information and discuss how our working practises should evolve and improve. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, and participating in outdoor activities with our children and dog.

I am a Chartered Accountant with 17 years experience working in Big 4 accountancy firms. I started my career as a trainee in Birmingham, and also spent two years working in Australia. Through this experience I gained insight into how different companies operate and the myriad of opportunities and challenges that they face. After a short career break, during which I honed my time management and diplomatic skills spending time with my young sons before they started school, I joined PMW in September 2015. Personal Assistant to the CEO

I have worked as a Personal Assistant for 30 years, primarily working with CEO’s and Managing Directors of large organisations. In April 2010 I joined PMW as Simon’s Personal Assistant with the aim of helping him to reshape the internal processes of the company. Having achieved this, I am now responsible for managing many of the processes and policies I have put in place. My primary goal is to ensure Simon’s time is managed effectively; which is challenging as demands on his time often exceed the actual time available. I therefore act as the first point of contact for Simon, both internally and externally. This enables me to assess and filter workflow so that Simon benefits from the help of others and has the space to deal with his primary responsibilities. I also work closely with Kellianne, to whom Simon has transferred many of his operational oversight responsibilities. Outside of work, I enjoy skiing, sailing, the theatre, yoga, voluntary work for the Samaritans, and I am learning the classical guitar.
