At Partridge Muir & Warren, we play an active role in supporting our local community, championing business success, and helping the next generation build brighter futures.
Whether it is sponsoring the Surrey Business Awards, supporting financial education for young people, or helping charities thrive, we believe in doing business with purpose — and putting people at the heart of everything we do.
Our CEO, Simon Lewis, takes a hands-on role in our community work — from judging awards to mentoring young entrepreneurs – and cycling 100 miles to raise money for charity.

Headline sponsor and judge since 2018
Each year, we proudly sponsor the Surrey Business Awards – one of the region’s most celebrated events. Our CEO, Simon Lewis, personally judges the SME and Medium Business of the Year categories, taking time to visit and interview every shortlisted business.
For Simon, judging is not just about choosing a winner. It is about listening to real stories from Surrey’s business community – understanding what drives them, the challenges they face, and what success looks like in today’s world. This insight helps us offer better, more relevant advice to business owners, founders and professionals.
“It was a real honour to be part of an awards programme that celebrates business success and I am confident that the companies I evaluated will continue to thrive and make a positive impact on our local economy.”
Supporting future entrepreneurs since 2017
We believe that financial confidence should start from a young age – and that real-world experience is the best teacher. That is why we support Young Enterprise, the UK’s leading enterprise and financial education charity.
Each year, we fund local Young Enterprise programmes, and Simon Lewis serves as a judge for the Company Programme, where students create and run their own businesses from scratch. It is inspiring to see such creativity, teamwork and resilience in action – qualities we champion in all areas of life and work.
“The innovation and professionalism these young people bring to the table is extraordinary. It’s a privilege to support their journey.”

Helping local charities thrive
In 2016, we became the Founding Corporate Partner for Elmbridge Philanthropy, a charitable fund set up to support voluntary organisations and community initiatives in the borough of Elmbridge.
Our CEO, Simon Lewis, was appointed Chair in 2017. Through his leadership and advocacy, the fund raised awareness and attracted new donors – enabling the distribution of over £34,000 in grants, directly benefiting more than 3,000 people in the local area.
The fund supported a wide range of causes, from youth programmes to community wellbeing initiatives. While the organisation has now closed, we are proud of the lasting impact created during its years of operation.
Celebrating local creativity and resilience
For five years, we were proud headline sponsors of the Surrey Life Food & Drink Awards, recognising the creativity and hard work of local independent producers, cafes, restaurants and hospitality businesses.
Why would a financial planning firm sponsor a food and drink-related award? Because it is not just about taste or refinement – it is about connection. In Simon Lewis’s own words:
“This sector helps make life feel a little less ordinary – through quality, creativity, and the simple act of bringing people together. That’s something worth celebrating.”
During the pandemic, we continued our support at a time when the industry faced extraordinary challenges. We are proud to have played a role in spotlighting the dedication, spirit and innovation of Surrey’s food and drink community.
